I was looking at a “forsale” messageboard and ran across this life-sized Yoda for sale. Gotta love the stylish beads he’s sporting. $300 seems like a bargain too. Hmmm… it is my brother’s birthday…

Nasty Weather Today
Usually it’s sunny and bright driving into work. This morning it was dark and grey. Everyone had their headlights on. When I arrived at work, the clouds were looking particularly evil, although the rain had not yet started. It is raining now, and lightning is hitting right outside my window.
Fritos Kahlo
Ho-hum
I don’t know who drew this. Maybe Billy. It’s a great post-it note. I keep it taped to my monitor.
A Mighty Wind
I went to see A Mighty Wind the other night. It was great! After being pretty disappointed with the Matrix Reloaded, it was nice to see a really good movie like this. It’s the same crew who did Best In Show and This Is Spinal Tap, so it was pretty much guaranteed to be funny. The story revolves around a reunion concert of three folk bands from the 60’s. I think the funniest character in the movie had to be Fred Willard’s talent agent. His “Wha’ppen?” lines were the best. I highly recommend this movie!
Really Funny Onion
The current edition of The Onion is totally funny! The story about the Christian Rock Band bassist is great, and the fire safety tips are classic. And as a bonus to all you Austinites, the statbox is titles “Why Are We Moving to Austin?”.
Ouch!
Today I was working in the yard cleaning up some weeds and mowing. When I was finished I noticed a stinging sensation on my hand. Looks like I got my first fire ant bite of the year. Usually the bite hurts for a few minutes, then kind of goes away, only to reappear the next day and it stays itchy for a week. But this one actually hurts and looks like a small welt, surrounded by red swollen skin about two inches in diameter. Man, I hate fire ants!
