Saccone’s Pizza

Today for lunch, I met my friend Ryan at a pizza place I hadn’t been to yet. It’s called Saccone’s, and it was great. It’s thin crust, and is super floppy. If you want to eat a slice with one hand, you need to fold it a bit. We ordered a whole pizza (the sizes are either a slice, or a whole pie), half of it was plain cheese, and the other half was with sausage. The crust was very basic, which was excellent because it complimented the sauce and cheese nicely. Thinking about it, there wasn’t anything so special or gimmicky about it; just tangy sauce, tasty cheese, and a nice crust. A little red pepper and parmesan, and it’s perfect. I think this Jersey-style pizza is my favorite.
