Went to Home Depot a little while ago to look at ladders and buy a couple air filters. I can never find air filters. And it is a bitch to find someone to ask. If either Home Depot or Lowe’s started putting in courtesy phones around the store, I’d definitely use them. I hate wandering around looking for an item or help to find an item!

Salt on Fruit?
In the drama “Lunch Queen“, there is a scene where a few of the characters are arguing about whether it is better to put salt on watermelon or not. I think I have put salt on watermelon just once, but I do remember having salt on pineapple when we ate it (fresh pineapple) in Hawaii visiting family. One memory was when we got to the hotel in Honolulu and had pineapple in the room. Where did that salt come from? Maybe we had a small kitchen in the room? Anyways, I have to say that I do prefer pineapple with salt, although it really isn’t a big deal. It is kind of weird tho, salting fruit.
Reality Radio Commercial
I hate em. You know the ones where someone is supposedly calling a customer service rep and they have a pleasant and funny conversation? GOD I HATE THOSE! The Jet Blue commercial where the guy wants to watch DirecTV is ok the first time, but after that it is unbearable! And the Carl’s Jr. call about getting a burger instead of a pastrami sandwich…. arrrrgh!
Gokusen 2
I finally finished watching Gokusen 2 last night. I enjoyed this second installment of the series a lot, although I think it was pretty much a repeat of the first series. The plots were very predictable, and I was thinking that they could have come up with a little more imaginative storylines. It seemed like each story was about a student getting into trouble, getting beat up, and Yankumi saving the day. Having said that, I will say that what made Gokusen 2 fun to watch was the comic acting of Nakama Yukie and vice principal Sawatari, played by Namase Katsuhisa. They are so funny together on screen, both in the Gokusen dramas, and the Hana Yori Dango, Tiger & Dragon, or Tokyo Wankei…
Bathroom Etiquette
Sometimes I will go to the restroom to wash my hands, and then after washing my hands I think that I might as well pee since I am there, so I do that, and then I wonder if I need to wash my hands again. I always do, though, but I feel bad that I used up twice as much water as usual. But then I think that I don’t want to pee when my hands are dirty either, so I guess it’s a good thing. My thought process always goes that way.
Weekend Trip

We went to Galveston and Houston this past weekend for a short vacation. It was plenty of fun, quite a bit of driving, but I don’t mind it one bit.
