Mariko said that her and her friends were discussing why Dora is so dasai (uncool), while her cousin Diego is not. They came to the conclusion that it was her bowl haircut. I have to agree that the haircut is a contributing factor, but I wouldn’t stop there. Her plain shorts are devoid of any kind of stitching or pockets, and look like those cheap polyester-type shorts that are usually stained in real life with cereal, juice, or cheetos. The t-shirt she wears is similarly dasai, but also too short. You can see her belly hanging out most of the time. Diego, on the other hand, has a nice stylish haircut, and is decked out with explorer-type clothes. I think Dora needs an update. Come to think of it, even when she is “Princess” Dora, she’s still pretty dasai. Yes… I guess it’s really all about her hairdo.
